Grades 5 and 6
Our Math Maestro Louis has more than one trick up his sleeve for making math lively and concrete for his students! Today, he’s proposing to get them involved in a renovation project. But will the budget provided by the principal be enough to put down new flooring in the classroom?
Your students will have to measure lengths and areas, and round and multiply natural and decimal numbers to determine if the project is possible. We also have a few Netmath activities to suggest to work on these concepts. Who knows, maybe there’s a future Jack or Jill of all trades in your class!
